We have recently changed the organization of our CAD files on this site.
To access them, please navigate to the scenery information for the
desired show. On that page you will see a link to the CAD files. These
files will appear as a simple list with no formatting or instructions.
To download a file, RIGHT-CLICK on it (if using a Mac with a one-button
mouse, hold down the CONTROL key and click). Choose the option to save
the file and pick a location on your computer. After the download is complete,
open the file using your CAD program. These files cannot be directly
viewed in your web browser, so don't left-click them or you will just
see a lot of binary jibberish!
You will find files in three different formats:
Files ending with .mcd are VectorWorks version 9 files
Files ending with .vwx are VectorWorks 2008 files
Files ending with .dwg are AutoCAD files
Note that we do all of our drafting in VectorWorks and don't use AutoCAD.
We have translated many of our files to .dwg format using VectorWorks, but
cannot guarantee that they will look the same in AutoCAD.
You can view and print VectorWorks files with the free VectorWorks Viewer
application for both Windows and Mac systems. Download the viewer for
version 9 (.mcd) files here. Download the viewer for VectorWorks
2008 (.vwx) files
here.
If you're using the .dwg version of a file, we suggest that you also
download the VectorWorks version and view it with one of programs
above to confirm that the translation works correctly.
